The Credit Usage page helps BlueDolphin admins track and understand their organization’s monthly AI credit consumption. It provides a clear overview of how many credits have been used, when credits will renew, how usage is distributed across AI capabilities, and the cost associated with each supported feature.
Use the AI credit system to monitor AI adoption, manage available credits, and identify which AI capabilities contribute most to overall usage.

How the credit system works
BlueDolphin manages AI credits at the organization level, not at the tenant level. This means that all tenants within the same customer organization share a common pool of credits.
Each organization receives a fixed number of credits every month. The system resets these credits at the start of each calendar month. Unused credits do not carry over to the next month.
NOTE: Credit consumption is based on successful AI requests, not on token usage. Some AI capabilities are available at no cost. Although these appear in the usage overview, they do not consume credits.
How to Access
The Credit Usage page is only accessible to admins.
To access it, select the Main menu and click Insights.
In the Insights column, click Credit usage under AI at the bottom of the page.

1. Credit usage (current month)
This graph provides admins with a summary of the organization’s current monthly credit usage.
It shows:
Credits used so far in the current month
Total credits available for the month
A progress bar that visualizes usage against the monthly allocation
Use this graph to understand quickly:
How much of the monthly credit budget has been consumed
How many credits remain available for the rest of the month
When the credit balance will reset
This graph serves as the primary view for a quick monthly usage check.
2. Credit usage per model
This graph shows how your organization distributes AI credits across different AI capabilities.
The graph includes a date filter in the top-right corner. Use this filter to view usage for a specific period:
Today
Current month
Current year
Hover over a bar to view detailed usage information for each category, including the specific AI capabilities and their corresponding credit consumption.
Use this graph to understand:
Which AI capabilities are used most frequently
Which types of AI interactions consume the most credits
Where credit usage is concentrated
This graph visualizes credit consumption by AI model or capability category, such as analysis and generation.
3. Credit usage per year
This chart provides a long-term view of credit usage across the current calendar year. You can filter the data by AI model type, such as analysis or generation.
It shows:
Months of the current year on the horizontal axis
Credits used on the vertical axis
A dashed red line indicating the monthly credit limit
Use this graph to:
Track month-by-month credit consumption trends
Compare current usage with previous months
Evaluate usage against the monthly credit limit
