Usage Insights in BlueDolphin now features a new section that provides various governance reports built into the tool.
These reports were previously spread out across different topics under “Reporting.” Now, they are all available in one simple and user-friendly location.
Governance reports will help maintain oversight of object usage, completeness, and relationships of your BlueDolphin data.
Access the Insights from the Main menu 
under the Visualization section.
When you open Insights, the column lists all available reports.
For the governance reports, you only see data from the workspace you are currently in. When you switch to another workspace, BlueDolphin loads the data for the selected workspace.
The Object title field is clickable. Clicking it navigates directly to the corresponding object in the Objects tab.
For example, when you select Objects on view, the report displays a list of objects along with details such as object definition, creator, and more.
The list below describes what each Governance report shows,
Views: List of all views with their details, like owner and status. The Number of elements value includes all shapes on the view, including objects. The Number of objects value counts only repository objects.
Objects on view: Lists all objects and the views they are part of.
Objects not on any view: Displays a list of objects that are not part of any view.
Objects not on a specific view: Displays a list of all active objects of a selected definition that are not part of the selected view.
Objects and relationships: Lists all relations between two objects with relevant information like relation definition, related object title, and so on.
Object relationship count: Lists of all objects and the total number of relationships they have.
Object completeness: Lists all objects and the completeness score of each object.
Objects and Relationships (with metadata): Objects and Relationships (with metadata): Select a source object definition, a relationship type, and a target object definition. The system returns:
Source objects: All items of the selected source definition, including metadata, properties, and questionnaire data.
Relationships (if exists): The selected relationship type, including metadata and questionnaire data.
Target objects: All connected target items, including metadata, properties, and questionnaire data.
BPMN Questionnaire Details: Select an element type. The result includes standard BPMN information such as:
Diagram and process name
Task or event name and type
Lane
Related EA object
Description
A direct hyperlink to the relevant item
Questionnaire fields configured for the selected element type are added automatically as extra columns. Elements still appear in the report even if an optional field is left empty. Sensitive questionnaire values remain protected based on your BlueDolphin permissions. This report currently only shows information from your main workspace.
You can save your configuration for future use by clicking the Save as custom insight button in the top-right corner.
For a more organized view, select Comfortable mode or choose the columns you want to display.
You can export the report to Excel or CSV using the Print menu in the top-right corner.

Add Filters
Click the three-dot menu on the column where you want to apply a filter. You can use this menu to sort data, select columns, or group by definition or date, and so on.
