User Profile

When you log in for the first time, you will see a welcome screen. If you click Next, a new screen with input questions opens. Here you can fill in profile questions such as your position, responsibilities, department, size of your organization, and similar.

The questions are not mandatory and can be skipped via the Skip button. The data you enter helps to speed up the creation of your objects and processes in BlueDolphin. Ultimately, the answers you provide will be visible in your personal profile area.

You can update or modify this information at any time in your profile. To access this area, click on your account button and select Profile > Personal information.

NOTE: Changing a user's first name, last name, and email can only be done by a user with admin rights.

E-mail notifications on Object/View messages

To modify notification settings, click on your account button and select Profile > Notifications.

If the toggle is on, you’ll receive an email notification whenever you’re mentioned or tagged in a message on an object or a view.

It helps you stay informed about important discussions, even when you’re not actively working on the platform.

The email contains,

  • The full message

  • The object or view it came from

  • A direct link to open it in BlueDolphin

  • A link to your user profile to enable/disable sending these notifications

E-mail notifications on Solution Design

To modify notification settings, click on your account button and select Profile > Notifications.

NOTE: You never receive a notification for an action you performed yourself.

Project assignment

If the toggle is on, you'll receive an email notification whenever a project is shared with you. It helps you know right away when you become involved in a project, without checking the platform.

Deliverable assignment

If the toggle is on, you'll receive an email notification whenever a deliverable is assigned to you. It helps you pick up new work as soon as it lands on your plate.

Deliverable status changes

If the toggle is on, you'll receive an email notification whenever the status of a deliverable changes. Both the Project Owner and the Deliverable Assignee receive this notification. It helps you follow the progress of your deliverables without actively monitoring them.

Deliverable deadline changes

If the toggle is on, you'll receive an email notification whenever the deadline of a deliverable changes. Both the Project Owner and the Deliverable Assignee receive this notification. It helps you stay on top of shifting timelines and plan your work accordingly.

Deliverable deadline expiration

If the toggle is on, you'll receive automated reminder emails 1 day before a deliverable deadline expires. Both the Project Owner and the Deliverable Assignee receive this notification. It helps you complete deliverables on time by warning you before the deadline passes.

The email contains,

  • The project from which the update comes

  • A direct link in BlueDolphin

  • A link to your user profile to enable/disable sending these notifications

By default, those notification settings are enabled. To turn it off, go to Account(top-right corner) Profile Notifications.
