Solution Design View Templates are predefined views that provide structure to Solution Design: the iterative process of conceptualizing, planning, and defining a solution to a problem or set of requirements.

Less build time: Pre-designed views mean you spend time on solution content, not on building templates.
Standardization: Cohesive, standardized templates give every phase of your design (from business goals to technical implementation) the same consistent structure.
Access requirements
All users with access to the Solution Design module can use the templates. For the roles and their permissions, see Roles and Permissions for Solution Design.
How Templates Work
The templates open with preset deliverables and phases when you choose the Basic workflow while creating a project. A project is organized into phases, and each phase contains deliverables: the views produced in that phase. Refer to Create a New Project for more information on the workflow options. You can also select any template from the architecture view template library.
Value Refinement: Use the Value Proposition Canvas and Service Blueprint templates to design and analyze the value a solution delivers.
Requirements Refinement: Use the High-Level Design template to explain a solution in a way non-technical stakeholders can understand.
Solution Architecture Design: Use the Solution Sketch and Solution Architecture Design templates to cover design types such as Application Flow, Application Integration, and Technology Design.
NOTE: Although the templates are grouped by phase, you can use each template on its own for a specific design need.
Getting started
To use a template, create a new view within a Solution Design project and select the template there. Then follow the how-to guide for your phase:
